Park Hyatt Tokyo 'Welcome Home' Reopening Offer
After an extensive refinement project that began in May 2024, Park Hyatt Tokyo is delighted to announce its grand reopening on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. The rejuvenation marks an exciting new chapter for this celebrated landmark in Shinjuku, combining timeless sophistication with contemporary elegance.
A Masterful Redesign by Studio Jouin Manku
Under the creative direction of Paris-based Studio Jouin Manku, the comprehensive project encompasses the hotel’s guestrooms, suites, The Peak Lounge & Bar, and the newly reimagined Girandole by Alain Ducasse. Drawing Inspiration from the original design vision of John Morford, the refreshed interiors celebrate Park Hyatt Tokyo’s unique DNA while ushering in a renewed sense of space, light, and serenity.
Each guestroom has been thoughtfully re-envisioned to feel more open and elegant, offering a refined balance of comfort and understated luxury. The number of rooms and suites has been reduced from 177 to 171, with the introduction of a new Park Suite category. Layouts have been subtly reconfigured to create a natural flow between living spaces, while bathrooms now draw from the Japanese tradition of wet rooms, uniting shower and bath in a seamless environment of marble, wood, and tranquillity.
Guests can expect elevated comforts and technology, including Frette linens, Aesop amenities, Nespresso machines, Dyson hairdryers, Japanese yukata sleepwear, and state-of-the-art LG televisions with Bose smart ultra-soundbars in suites.
Introducing Girandole by Alain Ducasse
In partnership with the Ducasse Paris Group, founded by Michelin-starred chef and entrepreneur Alain Ducasse, the hotel proudly unveils Girandole by Alain Ducasse. This new dining experience blends brasserie charm with relaxed sophistication, presenting modern interpretations of classic Parisian dishes crafted with light, health-conscious techniques.
Guests can look forward to a distinctive gourmet breakfast and a menu that celebrates the convivial spirit of French brasserie culture — a place where connection, creativity, and conversation come together beautifully.

A New Era of Refined Hospitality
The reopening of Park Hyatt Tokyo presents an experience that feels both renewed and reassuringly familiar — an invitation for returning guests to rediscover its serene elegance, and for new visitors to feel instantly at home.
